As a Senior (2015-16): Started 25 games of the season…Played in all 28 games of her senior season …Top three in scoring with 242 points and an average of 8.6 per games…Second in steals with 70 which…Totaled 582 minutes on the court with an average of 20.8 per game…Made 96 field goals, second in all team …Shot 44.4% from the floor…Was 46.9% from the line…Contributed 108 rebounds and 32 assists…Scored in double figures 12 times all season…Had a season-best 20 points against Ferrum… Was 2-2 in shots beyond the arc in Mary Baldwin …Named USA South All-Conference second team selection for her outstanding performance in steals, shooting, and offensive rebounds in the league.
As a Junior (2014-15): Started all 26 games of the season…Was the only player in 2014-15 to start each contest…Led the team in scoring with 267 points and an average of 10.3 per game…Only Lady Lions to average over 10 points…Led the team in steals with 62 which was 15 more than the next player…Totaled 583 minutes on the court with an average of 22.4 per game…Made 100 field goals this season as the only Lady Lion to reach that mark…Shot 47.8% from the floor…Was 54.7% from the line…Contributed 77 rebounds and 34 assists…Scored in double figures 15 times all season…Had a season-best 25 points against Berry College…Scored in double figures in 10 of the first 13 games of the year…Named a USA South Honorable Mention All-Conference selection.
As a Sophomore (2013-2014): Played in all 26 games for the Lady Lions, and received her only start of the year against Ferrum…Averaged 11.7 minutes, and shot 46.1% from the field on the year…Posted a 55.4% average from the free-throw line, and totaled 55 rebounds…Led the team in steals with 57…Averaged nearly 6 points a game for the Lady Lions…Scored a season high 14 against Covenant…Was 50% or better in 16 games at the free-throw line…USA South Academic All-Conference Selection.
As a Freshman (2012-2013): Appeared in 22 games in her first season on campus…Recorded four steals and seven points against North Carolina Wesleyan (2/2)…Posted a .467 field goal percentage for the year.
Prep & Personal: Born June 14th, 1994…Parents are Larry and Yolanda Franklin…One of four daughters along with sisters Brittany, Eboni, and Diamond…Graduated from Houston County High School in 2012…Was an Honor Graduate and member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club…Also received the Outstanding Senior Award in 2012…Ran track & field…Played for Coach Jonathan Roddie at Houston County…Also played travel ball with the Columbus Blazers under coaches Joseph Foster and Rudolph Hunley…Named Best Defensive Player from 2010 to 2012…Honored as team’s MVP in 2012…Now majoring in Biology at Piedmont.
