As a Freshman (2014): Competed in seven races for the Lady Lions this season…Ran her first collegiate 6k at the Maryville Invitational with a time of 34:47…Set a personal record in the championship distance of 6k the following week at the Berry Invitational running 33:31.80…Finished as the fifth Lady Lion in the USA South Championship Meet with a time of 34:09.44 helping her team to a fifth place finish.
Prep & Personal: Native of Hartwell, Georgia…Born July 29th, 1995…Parents are Derek and Susan Bell…One of three children including a pair of brothers, Austin and Andrew…2013 graduate of Hart County High School…Majoring in Nursing…Junior Marshall in high school…Also an Honors Graduate and Senior Superlative…Ran track in high school and was also a cheerleader for football…Prepped under high school Coach Mike Edwards…Played her travel ball with the Hart Angels under Coach Lonnie Robinson…A captain her senior year…Also won the Coaches’ Award her freshman year, Hustle Award her sophomore year, and was the Defensive MVP as a senior…Voted Most Athletic her senior year…Maintained perfect attendance K-12…Also named both the Homecoming Queen in 2013 as well as the Prom Queen.
