Davis Barlow enters his second season with the Piedmont University athletic communications staff in the fall of 2023 under Assistant AD of Communications Danielle Percival. Barlow rejoined the Piedmont staff in a full-time position after serving as an intern and student worker during his undergraduate career at Piedmont.
While he was a student at Piedmont, Barlow covered nine different sports performing both play-by-play and color commentary on broadcasts. He also contributed in statistics work and writing athlete features as an undergraduate student.
In his final year on campus, Barlow was single-handedly responsible for creating and running the Piedmont Lions TikTok account as part of his capstone. He was also a key contributor for the sports section of the Piedmont University Roar student newspaper.
Since leaving Demorest, he has served in several play-by-play and public address roles including serving as the PA announcer for The Sunbelt League in 2021. He earned multiple freelance play-by-play roles highlighted by serving as the play-by-play broadcaster for Potros FC within the UPSL.
Barlow graduated from Piedmont in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in sports communications.
