Dustin Meadows enters his third season at the helm of the Piedmont Men's Golf program after being named Head Coach in October of 2023, taking over leadership of the Lions for the conclusion of their fall season.

In his first season at the helm, Meadows made an immediate impact by guiding Piedmont to its first-ever Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Tournament Championship. The Lions mounted a thrilling comeback on the final day, overcoming an eight-stroke deficit with standout performances including career-low rounds from Eric Penland and Connor Lane, as well as a strong finish by freshman Doug Gugel.

Building on that success, Meadows led the Lions to defend their CCS Tournament crown in 2025. Piedmont held off Huntingdon in the championship match and then secured victory in a playoff to earn their ticket to the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship. Meadows was honored as CCS Coach of the Year for his exceptional leadership, and four Lions earned All-CCS recognition.

Before joining Piedmont, Meadows served as head coach at St. Andrews University in North Carolina, a position he assumed in June 2023. His coaching journey began in 2008 as an assistant coach at Prince Edward High School, where he worked until 2011. He then gained experience as an assistant golf professional at Broad Bay Country Club, Spring Creek, and Poplar Grove Golf Course.

Meadows transitioned into collegiate coaching in 2018 as an assistant men’s golf coach at Division I Longwood University, where he contributed to recruiting the largest student-athlete class in the program’s history. He later served as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's golf programs at Ottawa University in Arizona during the 2019-20 season, helping both teams set program scoring average records.

A veteran of the U.S. Marines, Meadows served from 2005 to 2011. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biblical studies from Amridge University in 2016.
