As a Freshman (2013): Ran in seven meets for the Piedmont Lions…Best 8K time for the season of 31:25.7 in the Furman Cross Country Classic…Best finish of the season with a 20th place finish at the Maryville College Invitational 2013…Finished 24th in the USA South Conference Championships with a time of 31:38.6.
Prep & Personal: Born November 24th, 1994 to parents Shannon and Ray McDonald…Has two sisters, Devyn and Madison…A 2013 graduate of East Jackson Comprehensive High School…Now majoring in Accounting at PC…Member of the Beta Club in high school, also a Honor Graduate and was top 50 in his class academically…Earned three varsity letters in cross country and track at East Jackson…Played soccer as a second sport before coming to Piedmont…His high school coaches included Tomy Sitton and Bob Roller…Personal best 5K time before arriving in Demorest was 18:45…FBLA School President…Designed school’s website for three years at East Jackson.
