As a Senior (2015-16): Started 21 games for the Lady Lions and earned time in 27 contests…Scored 245 points for an average of 9.1 per game, first on the team…One of five Lady Lions to have 100+ rebounds as she collected 105…Averaged 3.9 rebounds a game…Played 425 minutes with an average of 16.1 per outing…Shot 39.2% from the floor…Made 30.8% of shots from 3-point range…Shot 55.8% from the line… Rushton scored over 20+ points in three of her contest this year…Scored her season-best 22 points against Huntingdon…Scored 20 points against both Lagrange and Oglethorpe…Scored in double figures 12 times…Received a nomination for USA South Player of the Week... In a game winning turnover combo with Dakota Sullens against Centre, Rushton got nominated for Play of the Year... Due to her outstanding performance on the field Rushton was nominated All-Conference First team this year.
As a Junior (2014-15): Started 21 games for the Lady Lions and earned time in 24 of 26 contests…Scored 238 points for an average of 9.9 per game, second on the team…One of five Lady Lions to have 100+ rebounds as she collected 102…Averaged 4.3 rebounds a game…Played 373 minutes with an average of 15.5 per outing…Shot 41.1% from the floor…Made 34.9% of shots from 3-point range…Shot 52.0% from the line…Lone double-double of the season came against Birmingham-Southern with 14 points and 13 rebounds…Scored a season-best 27 points against Huntingdon…Also put up 26 against Berry, one night after scoring 25 against Oglethorpe…Scored in double figures 10 times.
As a Sophomore (2013-2014):  Appeared in all 26 games for the Lady Lions, and started 9 of the contests…Averaged 14.1 minutes per game on the year, and shot 34.7% from the floor…Tied for 2nd on the team in 3-pointers made with 28…Posted a 68% free-throw average, and snagged 82 rebounds on the year…3rd on the team in total points with 217, and averaged just over 8 points a game…Had a season high 17 points against LaGrange and Huntingdon…Was 50% or better from the free-throw line in 19 games for the Lady Lions…USA South Academic All-Conference Selection.Â
As a Freshman (2012-2013): Played in 14 games recording 164 minutes…Ranked second on the team in three-point field goals with 34…Posted her season-high in points against Agnes Scott recording 18 points on six of eight shooting from the floor…Averaged 7.9 points and 2.6 rebounds per game…USA South Academic All-Conference.
Prep & Personal: Gainesville, Georgia native…Parents are Sarah and Eddie Rushton…Born October 4th, 1993…Has two siblings, a brother (Luke) and a sister (McKenna)…2012 graduate of North Hall High School…Majoring in Nursing at Piedmont…National Honor Society member at North Hall…Involved now with DECA, the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and the Senior Beta Club since coming to campus…Also volunteered with the Special Olympics…Played volleyball as well as basketball in high school…North Hall Coach Kristi House prepped her for the college level…1,000 point scorer in high school…Named 1st Team All-Region and to the All-Tournament Team…Also an All-Area selection…Played in North Georgia All-Star Classic…Was named the Gainesville Times Player of the Week…Led her high school team to a Region Championship and an appearance in the Final Four…As a volleyball team member, led her squad to an Elite 8 and Sweet 16 appearance.
