The Piedmont men's lacrosse team is set to open its 2025 season this weekend at home, hosting SAA foe Berry Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1:00 p.m.

5 THINGS TO KNOW

The Lions are coming off a program-record 14 wins in 2024, marking three straight seasons in which the team has set a new program high for wins.
Piedmont nearly swept the USA South major awards in 2024, as Tim Dunton was named Coach of the Year, Brady McGuire Offensive Player of the Year and Johnny Matrona Defensive Player of the Year.
Unfortunately, Piedmont must replace both McGuire and Matrona, who departed after graduating.
However, the Lions do return their leading goal scorer from a season ago in Isaac Harrington.
Piedmont was selected second, behind defending champion Pfeiffer, in the USA South Preseason Coaches Poll.
