DEMOREST, Ga. - The Piedmont women's basketball team dominated from start-to-finish in a 94-24 blowout win over Wesleyan on Tuesday night at Cave Arena.

The Lady Lions led wire-to-wire, scoring the first 13 points of the game and never looking back from there.

Two Lady Lions had career nights, as AVERY MCALLISTER and JORDAN VERNON each tallied career highs with 18 points. McAllister was nearly perfect from the field, going 8-of-9, and even making her first career three-pointer in the process. McAllister also pulled in 11 rebounds for her first career double-double.

Vernon came off the bench and matched McAllister's 18 points with her season best as a freshman. She also grabbed 10 boards for her first career double-double as well.

Fellow freshman HAYLEY BORINO delivered career bests in points (13) and assists (6), leading the team with her six dimes. 

BENTLEY CRONIC and RILEY BRYAN added 10 points each while MADDY DICKENS and KELSEY BANKS pitched in with nine each off the bench.

Piedmont's defense forced 27 Wesleyan turnovers and held the Wolves to just a single point in the second quarter and four points for the entirety of the fourth quarter.

With the win, the Lady Lions move to 32-0 all-time against the Wolves.

Up next, Piedmont will conclude its regular season, hosting rival Maryville at Cave Arena for Senior Day this Saturday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m.
