JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - The Piedmont College women's golf team finished their stint at the Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate Sunday afternoon with
JANA GUY leading the way with a tournament score of 242.
After an impressive round two score, Guy had a pair of double-bogeys hinder her efforts in round three. The tournament total of 242 is one stroke back from her low score for three-round tournaments this year.
KENSLEY BROWN finished her final round with the same as she finished round one with, an 85. She combined for a 254 total as she tied for 78th in the tournament and posted her lowest three-round score since joining Piedmont's squad.
With a final round score of 84,
JORDAN ABBOTT was the only Lady Lion to lower her score after each round. The sophomore tied for 84th overall in the tournament with a tournament score of 257 as she tied her three-round score from the fall at the Golfweek NCAA Division III Fall Invitational in October.
Phoebe Nguyen of Whitman College led all three rounds as she finished two under par for the tournament.
