Howey-in-the-Hills, FL  - The Piedmont College women's golf team finished the DIII Women's Preview Monday in 14th place with a team score of 344 in the second round. The Lady Lions shaved three strokes off their performance Sunday to finish with a two round score of 691. 

JANA GUY improved in the second round with a 78 as she birdied three holes on the back nine to start the day going one over on the back nine. Both JENNIFER BARRETT and JORDAN ABBOTT improved on their round one scores as Barrett had an 88 and Abbott recorded an 89. Kensley Brown also carded an 89 in the second round. 

The Lady Lions will now ready for a trip to Montgomery, Alabama for the MCC Women's Intercollegiate in October. 

Standout Performances
--JANA GUY led Piedmont with a 78 in the second round to improve her position to 20th overall.
