Pine Mountain, GA - The Piedmont College women's golf team finished the opening event of the spring schedule finishing 12th overall at the Callaway Gardens Collegiate. JANA GUY finished as the Lady Lions' top performer with a two-round 167 posting an 85 on the second day.

Piedmont finished four strokes ahead of Birmingham-Southern while also coming in ahead of Maryville College. The Lady Lions posted a 350 team score in round two seven strokes ahead of Monday's first round. JANA GUY led the way with an 85 while JENNIFER BARRETT and ASHTON MAMULA both carded an 86. 

Guy finished ahead of five of the top-100 players in Division III coming in 35th overall. Piedmont had eight birdies on the day with both Guy and Justice accounting for three each.
