DEMOREST, Ga. – Three goals over a six minute span in the second half helped guide the Piedmont College women's soccer team to a 3-0 win over Brevard College on Tuesday.
CASSIDY REICH tacked on a pair of goals in the contest while
TORI GILLETT added one in between Reich's strikes.
Reich got the Lady Lions on the board first after a corner kick by
TORI GILLETT that
NATALIE MUNOZ headed down. Reich finished off the strike in the 59th minute to give PC the 1-0 lead, and just over a minute later, Gillett would add another score as she took another corner kick, this time deflecting off the goalie for the score.
Leading 2-0, Reich delivered a blast in the 64th minute off a free kick from 30 yards out to seal the 3-0 win and move the Lady Lions to 9-0-2 overall. Piedmont outshot Brevard 18-7 with six shots on goals to the Tornados four.

--Back-to-back goals within a minute and five seconds in the second half helped Piedmont gain momentum in the contest.

CASSIDY REICH scored a pair of goals for the Lady Lions in her first multi-goal game of the season.

--This marked the first time these two teams faced off with Piedmont now boasting a 1-0 record against Brevard.
