MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Piedmont College women's golf team finished the opening round of the MCC Women's Intercollegiate tournament on Sunday afternoon in 8th place with a team score of 352.
JORDAN ABBOTT led the Lady Lions with a score of 82 on the day finishing tied for 14th.
JANA GUY finished the first round one stroke behind Abbott with an 83 putting her tied for 20th in the 51-player field.
Piedmont's team score of 352 gives them a two stroke advantage over the Millsaps College Majors after day one of competition.
