Sandestin, FL - The Lady Lion golf team finished the Golfweek Fall Invitational on a strong note with their best round of the tournament carding a 325 team score in round three finishing the event in 18th. Piedmont was led by CHARLI JUSTICE and ASHTON MAMULA on the final day as both had an 80 in round three. 

JANA GUY finished as Piedmont's top competitor with a 245 three-round score with an 81 on Tuesday after making par on 11 of 18 in round three. The Lady Lions were consistent across the board as Justice too made par on 11 holes.

Mamula had one of three birdies on the day for the Lady Lions as she was even on the front nine with a birdie on hole 7. Both KENSLEY BROWN and JENNIFER BARRETT birdied on 15 as Brown had an 84 on Tuesday while Barrett posted an 87. 

Three Lady Lions posted their best single round score of the tournament on the final day of competition while two golfers had their best scores of the season at this event. JANA GUY's 78 was her best mark of the season while Justice's 80 Tuesday was her low on the season. 

Standout Performances
--ASHTON MAMULA had the largest improvement from round two to round three as she shaved 12 strokes off her score carding an 80 on Tuesday.

News & Notes
--The Lady Lions improved in each round of the event with a 350 to open play, 340 in round two and a 325 in the final round.
