Senior Andrew Migetz posted a hit and an RBI in the Lions' 6-3 loss to N.C. Wesleyan College.
For the second day in a row the Piedmont College baseball team fell to non-conference host North Carolina Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount, NC by the score of 6-3. The Lions could only muster seven hits in the loss while the home team pounded out nine.

The Lions jumped out in their first at bat with a single run as ANDREW MIGETZ drove in COREY LINDSEY who led the inning off with a double. PC would add on in the fourth inning with two runs on two hits to take a 3-0 advantage.

The home team would answer with two runs in the fourth and the eventual game winning four runs in the fifth to take the final lead change of the day. The Lions would be held scoreless the final four innings and connected on only one hit down the stretch.

Lindsey paced the offense going 3-5 with an RBI and a run scored. JOHN DUKE chipped in with a pair of hits while Lindsey and Migetz added a run batted in respectively. Senior EVAN RODERY was impressive out of the bullpen going three and two-thirds innings of scoreless relief.

The loss drops Piedmont to 9-7 overall and 1-3 on the road. The Lions will return home to Loudermilk Field on Thursday, March 12th as they host Heidelberg College under the lights at 7:00.
