Piedmont sealed the victory in the third set as senior ASHLEY CHIMA led eight consecutive points and the squad posted a 25-6 match ending set.

Middle hitter KATIE TUCKER led the offense with six kills while MEGHANN CLARK chipped in with five. Setter TYLER BALDONADO added 22 assists while Baldonado, DeMarrais and Chima notched five service aces respectively. Tucker was also impressive on the defensive side with two solo blocks.

The victory moves Piedmont to 13-4 overall and 3-0 in the Great South Athletic Conference. The Lady Lions will return to the hardwood again tomorrow, September 27th as they host conference member Spelman College at 1:00.
