The Piedmont College men's tennis team fell to visiting Amherst College this afternoon at Walker Tennis Courts by the score of 8-1. The Lions' lone point came at #1 singles as David Gillispie won in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.
The loss drops Piedmont to 3-9 overall and 2-4 in home matches. The Lions will return to the court again on Saturday, March 21st as they host NCAA Division-II North Greenville University at Walker Tennis Courts with first serve to be announced.
