Huntingdon College Edges Men's Tennis 5-4

Lions Move To 1-1 In Great South Athletic Conference Action

The Lions were edged this morning by Great South Athletic Conference member Huntingdon College by the score of 5-4 moving PC to 1-1 in conference action.
The Piedmont College men's tennis team fell this morning to visiting Huntingdon College by the score of 5-4 in Great South Athletic Confernce action. The Lions were able to pull out three singles victories but could only muster one of the three doubles matches en route to the one-point loss.

#1 David Gillispie, #3 CHRIS LEONARDO and #4 JOEY LEONARDO were able to pull out straight set victories but the Hawks were able to steal the match with wins at #2 and #3 doubles. The Lions now stand at 3-8 overall and an even 1-1 in Great South competition. PC will return to the court again on Wednesday, March 19th as they host Amherst College beginning at 2:00.
