The Piedmont College women's tennis team fell this afternoon to NCAA Division-III south region host Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA by the score of 6-3. The Lady Lions dropped two of the three doubles matches and four of the six singles matches en route to the loss.

KATIE BUICE and JENNIFER GRANLUND picked up victories at #4 and #6 singles while the tandem of Buice and STEPHANIE SMITH earned the Lady Lions' third point at #2 doubles. The Lady Lions now stand at 1-3 overall and will return to action again on Sunday, March 2nd as they play their home opener against Columbia College beginning at 1:30.
