After opening up the conference schedule with a victory over LaGrange College the Piedmont College men's tennis team fell this afternoon to Oglethorpe University by the score of 7-2. The Lions dropped two of three doubles matches and five of the six singles matches en route to the defeat.

DAVID GILLESPIE was the only bright spot in the singles matches defeating his #1 opponent 6-2 and 6-0. The tandem of Gillespie and JOEY LEONARDO also picked up a victory in #1 doubles 8-6. The Lions now stand at 1-5 overall and will play their home opener tomorrow, March 1st against Averett University beginning at 11:30.
