The Piedmont College women's basketball team continued its winning ways with a dominating 76-60 road victory over conference foe Huntingdon College this afternoon in Montgomery, AL. The victory extends the Lady Lions' season-high eight-game winning streak and keeps them undefeated in the Great South Athletic Conference.

The Lady Hawks refused to quit and went on a 14-2 run of their own over the next five minutes making the score 44-42.

After the rally PC calmly responded scoring 23 of the next 29 points to take the largest lead of the game at 67-48 with three minutes left. During the stretch freshman COURTNEY ODUM notched eight points while fellow newcomer LAURA SIMMONS added four points to lead the charge.
