The Piedmont College men's tennis team opened the Courtney Rutherford era this afternoon as the Lions dropped their season-opener this afternoon to Millsaps College in Atlanta, GA by the score of 8-1. The Lions could only muster one victory as DAVID GILLESPIE won his #1 singles match 6-1, 6-3.

The Lions move to 0-1 on the young season.  The men will turn around on short rest tomorrow, February 9th as they return to Atlanta, GA to square-off against #2 nationally ranked Emory University.
