For the second consecutive time the Piedmont College men's soccer team defeated LaGrange College by the score of 1-0, this evening in the semifinals of the Great South Athletic Conference tournament in LaGrange, GA. The Lions posted the eventual game winner in the first half and stymied the Panthers offense en route to the victory.
PC, who now stands at 11-7 overall, advances to take on top-seeded Maryville College in the conference championship tomorrow, November 8th with kick off scheduled for 4:00.

JON REINERT connected on the only goal of the match at the 18th minute off a pass from
JORGE PRADILLA, the GSAC Player of the Year. The goal marks the second of the season for Reinert, with both coming as game winners.

BRIAN GAID was remarkable saving nine shots on goal for his fourth shutout of the season. The Lions were outshot 9-5 and could only muster five corner kicks compared to the home team's eight.
