Jorge Pradilla notched his fourth game winner of the season to lead the Lions past LaGrange 4-3 this evening in LaGrange, GA.

The Piedmont College men's soccer team picked up its fourth Great South Athletic Conference victory this evening in LaGrange, GA edging the host Panthers 4-3. The victory is the second consecutive one-goal decision over LaGrange College and snaps the Lions' two-match skid.

In a match that featured five lead changes the Lions jumped on the board first as JEREMY STILLE connected on an unassisted goal at the 32nd minute. The home team answered 11 minutes later as both teams went into halftime with one goal apiece.

The Panthers struck inside the first minute of the second frame to take a 2-1 advantage. JORGE PRADILLA then answered for the Lions with an unassisted goal at the 70th minute. LC took its final lead of the match five minutes later and held the 3-2 advantage with 15 minutes remaining.

Freshman NICK WEATHERBY continued his impressive play connecting on a goal off a pass from Pradilla, the fourth time this season the tandem has connected. With the score tied and two minutes remaining in regulation Pradilla posted his fourth game winner of the season on a penalty kick to seal the victory.

The Lions now stand at 9-7 overall and 4-2 in the GSAC. Piedmont will return home for the final time this season on Friday, October 24th as they host Spalding University beginning at 7:30.
