PC Shutouts Pioneers For Second Time This Season

Lauren Dodd led all scorers with a game high four goals in the Lady Lions' 9-0 victory at Wesleyan College.
For the third time the season the Piedmont College women's soccer team recorded win over a Great South Athletic Conferecne opponent, this afternoon at host Wesleyan College by the score of 9-0. The Lady Lions notched five goals in the first half and then tacked on four more insurance goals in the second.

It was a day of first for the PC women as Kaitlin Fitton recorded her first two collegiate goals as well as Kaitlin Induni who recorded her first collegiate goal. LAUREN DODD led all scorers with a game-high four goals while MACY MACLEAN and NICOLE HOOD chipped in with a goal apiece.

The victory moves Piedmont to 3-4 overall and an even 3-3 in Great South Athletic Conference action. The Lady Lions will return to the friendly confines of Walker Field on Thursday, October 4th as they host conference foe Agnes Scott College at 6:00.
