The Piedmont College men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Maryville College Homecoming Invitational this afternoon hosted by Great South Athletic Conference member Maryville College in Maryville, TN. The Lions finished in fourth place out of eight teams while the Lady Lions finished eighth out of eight teams.

On the men's side Chris Rice was the top Lion finisher with an 8K time of 29:04. MICHAEL FIDERO and YVE CHAWLA finished second and third with times of 30:00 and 30:29 respectively while MONTEZ JONES and TRENT SMITH rounded out the field for PC.

On the women's side DANIELLE VIDD was the Lady Lions' top runner with a 5K time of 31:04. KRIS PRATT was second on the squad with a race time of 31:47 while JOANNA MOYE and JILLIAN PRATT rounded out the team with times of 36:05 and 36:47 respectively.

The PC Harriers will return to action again on Saturday, November 3rd as they play host to the 2007 Great South Athletic Conference championship in Dillard, GA beginning at 11:00 for the women and 12:00 for the men.
