For the second time this season the Piedmont College volleyball team defeated NCAA Division-III south region foe Oglethorpe University, tonight as the road team in Atlanta, GA by the score of 3-0. The PC offense carried the netters to victory 30-20, 30-23, and 30-26.

The win is the 13th consecutive victory over OU since the 2002 season. It also marks the 12th time this season that Piedmont has defeated its opponent in three straight games.

The win moves Piedmont to 18-6 overall. PC will return to action again on Friday, October 19th as they host Great South Athletic Conference opponent Agnes Scott College at the Johnny Mize Athletic Center beginning at 5:00.

KATIE TUCKER and SARAH LANE led PC on both sides of the net. The duo connected for a combined 13 kills and six total blocks. Lane was also impressive posting a team-high two service aces. Adding to the offense was TYLER BALDONADO who notched a game-high 26 assists.
