Women's Soccer Team Drops 2-0 Decision At Spelman College

Lady Lions Blanked By League Foe

Erin Pippin tried to help lead the PC offense past Spelman but the Lady Lions could not find the back of the net and dropped the 2-0 decision.
For the fourth time this season the Piedmont College women's soccer team was shutout, tonight at the hands of Great South Athletic Conference host Spelman College in Atlanta, GA by the score of 2-0. The loss marks the third straight for PC who has also dropped a pair of consecutive GSAC contests.

These two teams met earlier this season with PC coming away with a 2-0 shutout victory. Despite numerous scoring opportunities the Lady Lions could not find the back of the net and dropped the decision.

The loss moves Piedmont to 3-7 overall and 3-5 in the Great South Athletic Conference. The Lady Lions will return to action again on Saturday, October 13th as they host defending GSAC champion Maryville College at Walker Field beginning at 2:00.
