The Piedmont College women's basketball team earned its fourth straight victory this afternoon with a 75-66 victory over visiting Methodist University in PC's Cave Arena. The win avenged an early season loss to the Lady Monarchs an upped Piedmont's overall record to 5-3.
Piedmont shot 47% from the floor while limiting the Lady Monarchs to a stingy 37% and PC claimed an advantage in rebounding column 33-29.
Nikki Sosebee led four Lady Lions in double-figures with a game-high 18 points and rounded out her second double-double of the season by grabbing 11 rebounds. Beth Adcock added 16 points including a pair of three-pointers while Stephanie Rainwater and Sheena Trimiar added 11 points apiece. Trimiar also tallied a season-best eight steals in the contest.
The Lady Lions will play their final game before Christmas break on Friday, December 8th when they travel to Atlanta, GA to take on Oglethorpe University at 5:00 PM.
