Clarifying the Tie and Looking Ahead
During the final review of points, the league identified a scoring tie for the Overall Commissioner’s Cup due to co-championships in both men’s and women’s basketball. In previous years, points in these scenarios were split between institutions, and the same approach was used this season. After consulting with regional peers and the CCS athletic directors, the league has agreed to adopt a formal tie-breaking procedure beginning in the 2025-26 academic year.
Awards will be presented to each institution on their respective campuses this fall.
