The Piedmont men's tennis team is set to open its 2025 spring season this weekend on the road, taking part in the Leftwich Indoor Tournament hosted by Rhodes College. 

The Lions are slated to open the season this Saturday, Feb. 22 at approximately 2:30 p.m. (ET) against Rhodes before battling Hendrix on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 10 a.m

  • The Lions enter 2025 coming off a record-setting 19 win season in 2024.
  • Piedmont was a perfect 6-0 in conference play in the regular season, highlighted by a thrilling home win over Covenant.
  • The perfect season gave the Lions a solo CCS Regular Season Title.
  • Head Coach Matt Williams was named CCS Coach of the Year for the second straight season while Charles Parnell took home CCS Rookie of the Year honors.
  • Piedmont returns Yannick Wassmer Navarro at the top of the singles lineup while Bryce VanOrder returns for his fifth and final year at Piedmont.
