2024 Men's Soccer Senior Spotlight

These four seniors have helped the Lions to 23 overall wins over the last four seasons including 7 wins thus far in 2024. Individually, these five have combined for over 175 games played, 93 starts, while adding 20 goals, and 11 assists while they have combined for five appearances on the USA South, CCS and CSC All-Academic listing.

Cash has appeared in 62 games and has made 46 starts over his four seasons with the Lions. He has been a staple defender for the Piedmont back line, starting a career-high 16 games in 2022. Cash added a pair of goals in his career and two assists, including the game-tying goal against Greensboro earlier this year. Off the field, Cash earned a CCS Academic All-Conference nod in 2023 and was also a CSC Academic All-District Team selection in 2023. He plans to graduate this spring with a degree in Business Administration of Accounting.

Tillett has appeared in 26 contests over three seasons in Demorest. He has tallied over 500 minutes played in his career after appearing in a career-high 12 games thus far this season. Off the field, he was named to the CCS Academic All-Conference list in 2023 for his hard work in the classroom. Tillett plans to graduate in the spring with a degree in Business Management - Accounting.

Eberhart has appeared in 25 games including 8 starts over two seasons at Piedmont. He has made contributions all over the defensive third of the field for the Lions, including playing almost 500 minutes in both seasons. On the offensive end, Eberhart added his first career assist in 2023 in Piedmont’s 8-2 win over Huntingdon. Nico plans to graduate in May with a degree in Graphic Design.

Aussin has appeared in 62 contests, making 47 starts over four seasons in the Green and Gold. He boasts 18 goals in his career while adding 8 assists from his forward position. Saving his best for last, he has posted a career-high in points thus far with 17 while scoring a career-high 8 goals this season. Getting the job done in the classroom, Aussin earned a spot on the USA South All-Academic Team in 2021 and the CSC Academic All-District team in 2022. Jason plans to graduate next May with a degree in Business Marketing.
