LaGrange, GA -- For the second consecutive week Piedmont College women's basketball player SADA WHEELER has been named the Great South Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending on January 24th. In three games Wheeler averaged a double-double of 17.3 points and 13.3 rebounds.

The Lady Lions went 2-1 last week including a Great South victory over Spelman College. In the week's finale against Rust College Wheeler posted game-highs of 21 points, 18 rebounds and six blocks. On the season she is currently leading the team with a double-double average of 14.7 points and 10 rebounds per game.
