Katie is a 2010 graduate from Piedmont and also earned her master’s degree the following year in 2011.

As a player on the Women’s soccer team, she competed in five seasons – one of which was cut short to injury.

She led the Lady Lions to back-to-back appearances in the GSAC championship game in 2009 and 2010 as the team saw much success in her time on the pitch.

Individually, she is one of the most prolific scorers in school history – holding the career marks for most points, most goals, most points per game, most goals per game, and most game-winning goals. In addition, she holds eight single-season marks for the women’s soccer program.

As a freshman, she scored 31 goals, 2nd most in the country and was named an All-American that season.
